A beautiful evergreen which is hardy and adaptable to nearly all climates. Can be used as either a windbreak or a single specimen. A hint of blue color lasts throughout the summer. Beautiful Red bark as tree matures, decorative cones. The Scotch Pine grows in acidic, drought tolerant, loamy, moist, sandy, well drained, wide range, clay soils. Matures at 30-60'; 30-40' spread. (zone 3-7) Needs full sunlight.
