Picea glauca A medium-sized native conifer with a narrow, spire-like crown. A straight, tall tree easily recognized by its needles which are 4-sided blue-green needles about 3/4" long. Cones always hang down. Beautiful year-round color. Tolerates most soil conditions. Not much need for pruning. Matures at 40-60'; 10-20' spread. (zone 2-6) Needs full sunlight. |
