Tree is pyramidal when young, developing into a dense, shapely tree with a rounded crown. One of the first trees to show its fall color, which is red. Adapts to a wide range of soils and climates, ranging from wet to dry, but prefers acidic soil. Matures at 45-55'; 45-55' spread. (zone 3) Needs full sunlight. |
