Cornus mas

Rounded growth habit. It is often mistaken for a crabapple. It has exfoliating gray-brown bark and masses of bright yellow flowers in the spring. Bright cherry-red fruit. Matures at 20-25'; 15' spread. (zone 4-8) Needs full to partial sunlight.
