Dura Heat River Birch Betula nigra Pyramidal to broad oval form. Foliage is dark green which turns yellow in the fall, with creamy colored white exfoliating bark. Much more tolerant of hot, humid weather than other river birch varieties. Matures at 35'; 25' spread. (zone 4-9) Needs full sunlight.
