London Planetree "Bloodgood" detail Mature "Bloodgood" London Plantree ("Bloodgood") Platanus x acerfolia Pyramidal in youth maturing into a large, open spreading form, this tree is ideal for urban situations as it tolerates adverse conditions and has shown greater resistance to anthracnose. The cream, olive, light brown bark is very attractive in the winter landscape. Medium to dark green summer foliage turns to yellow-brown in fall. Matures at 55-85'; 50-65' spread. (zone 5-8) Needs full to partial sunlight. |
