Somerset Maple fall
Somerset Maple ("Somerset") Acer rubrum Somerset Maple was introduced the National Arboretum. Somerset resulted from crossing October Glory and Autumn Flame. Leaves are dark green in summer. It has excellent form in the nursery and consistent bright fall color. Matures at 45'; 35' spread. (zone 4) Needs full to partial sunlight. |
